Some Malays still want to treat Malays and non-Malays like children?!

Light at the end of the multi-racial tunnel....you better believe it!

The heyday of Malay political domination symbolises by people like Dollah Kok Lanas...

"The former editor-in-chief of the New Straits Times today joined the chorus of attacks on the current administration, and hinted that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was a political coward unlike his predecessors.

Writing in his column for Sinar Harian, Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad said "many hanker for a return" to either the Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad or Tun Razak eras "when there were no political cowards", suggesting that Najib was a political coward..........."  Malaysian Insider's translation from Sinar Harian.

Everyone knows who Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad is, he is otherwise known as Dollah Kok Lanas, a once powerful right wing Malay politician with a massive ego to boost, constantly.
He was much feared then when he was a deputy minister under Tun Razak and cabinet ministers loathed him.
He would motion his index finger to any junior or senior minister to come to him.  Then one day he was thrown into the dungeon for being a suspected Stalinist.
Onto the next topic. Many moons ago I had one of those rare and a private conversation with Prime Minister Najib Razak and he said to me: "Under my watch I want to empower every Malaysian - Malay, Chinese, Indian and everyone - the power to think about the well being of the country and society,"
I said: "Isn't that easier said than done sir! What about the right wing and the conservative within Umno who would shot down the idea of you wanting to empower evereyone including the non-Malays...shouldn't they be controlled? As we have done in the past?"
He said: "It must be done. I am not from the past I want to forge ahead and they may and call me anything they want but this is something I must do and will do..empower all law-abiding Malaysians into building this country......"
To continue from the top, let me tell what Dollah Kok Lanas and many other right wing Malays are saying.
That they are not comfortable with Najib's idea of liberal approach to society and his "empowering" everyone regardless of their ethnic backgrounds so long as they are doing it for the betterment of the country.
My contention is under Tun Razak and Tun Mahathir, Malaysians were overwhelmed or subdued either by sheer fear of the Malay power or that they are afraid to say "I am in pain" or "to stop hitting me" feelings.
Najib said: "I want to heal the nation for we have only one life to live, I don't want Malaysians to feel the pain of being subjugated by any one...they can say what they want I will still do it."
No Najib is not a coward, it is just that people like Dollah Kok Lanas and others like him, are afraid that they will lose their right wing Malay muscle by not being able to call any one, non-Malays included, via their smugged index finger.
People like Dollah Kok Lanas and others like him are actually HANKERING for the heyday of sheer Malay total domination at all cost, to come back, but that ain't going to happen under Najib's watch!
People like Dollah Kok Lanas and others like him must accept the fact that Najib, unlike all of his predecessors, is not a coward he is just doing it what was supposed to have been done.....to not make Malaysians live in fear.

Only through the freedoms enjoyed by the individual can the nation can bring out the best in every citizen. People are like sheep they like to led. But such a leadership will only create individuals who first find out what the answer is and then and then ask the right questions. I have seen countless officers going to the top of the service by just resting their fore-arm on their thighs and saying, gee Dato what you are saying never occurred to me.

No one should live in fear. In fact this is the first time some introduced this new notion.
Tell your boss that he owed his allegiance to his voters. Who are those peoples that votes for him?
Of course he is also a PM for all Malaysian. No one are suggesting that he must harassed those who do not vote for him and live in fear. They will enjoy every right as a citizen.
But for his voters, they are entitled much more.

To empower all as 1 malaysia, maintain only one school which is sekolah kebangsaan and make available classes of other languages. Ada berani?

Empower everyone Yes !, but with right move with clear direction.

What do you expect from that ,if the rakyat remain separated by vernacular education of their choice which later enhance to political separation that remain the country divided forever.

What good's of empowering then ?.

Ever since MIC took the place of the NUPW the Indians in the estates were left to their own means. There is no need for any one to take that credit now.

I support Najib. But to ensure success he need to appoint a non malay to be second prime minister. Over and above that he need to groom Lim Guan Eng to be the next prime minister after him. Only the non Malay leaders would care for all malaysians regardless of race.

Anon 7.35 pm That is a racist comment and Lim Guan Eng is only concerned about the Chinese no matter what lie you want to spin
